Specific heat and critical field ofLuNi2B2C

This recently discovered superconductor is found to have a relatively low density of states with evidence for strong coupling. The critical field slope at ${\mathit{T}}_{\mathit{c}}$ is -0.5 T/K, consistent with the low specific heat γ of 11±2 mJ/mol ${\mathrm{K}}^2$.
