Abstract
Life table analysis was used to determine mortality rates and survivorship curves of yearling and adult moose (Alces alces) in southeastern New Brunswick. An estimated relative vulnerability to hunting of 1.52 and 1.70 was calculated for yearling and 2.5-year-old males, respectively, and 1.76 and 2.06 for yearling and 2.5-year-old females, respectively. Weighted average mortality rates for adults .gtoreq. 1 year old were 0.47 for males and 0.25 for females.
