Abstract
Gated sine-wave electromagnetic flowmeters have been used to measure mean and phasic flow simultaneously in the right coronary and the anterior descending and circumflex branches of the left coronary artery in the anesthetized open-chest dog. The simultaneously recorded flow patterns in these arteries have been described and related to other events in the cardiac cycle. Changes in the flow pattern produced by alteration of inflow pressure, force of myocardial contraction, and coronary vascular resistance have been described. Keywords
