Abstract
By using 514nm pump power levels, lower than those used before, but with much longer exposure times, the authors observed strange nonlinear transmittance effects in germanosilicate optical fibres. These phenomena included an oscillating transmittance of the pump light and a significant influence of switching of the green pump light on the transmittance at 633nm.Keywords
