Abstract
Blood trypomastigote forms of T. cruzi were labeled with 75Se-methionine. Opsonization by sera from mice chronically infected with T. cruzi promoted their uptake by both liver and spleen. Opsonized parasites within spleens and livers were less infectious when transferred to normal recipients demonstrating in situ parasite killing by these organs. This publication has 11 references indexed in Scilit:
