Abstract
Unipolarity of polarization in TGS and in Rochelle salt crystals doped with Cu2+ has been studied. Both crystals develop hysteresis loops biased along the field axis. The hysteresis loop of each crystal vanishes for definite values and direction of the dc field. For other electric fields, asymmetric curves of the resultant bias field EK and coercive field EC versus dc field for crystals doped with Cu2+ are obtained. The results are discussed in terms of a phenomeno-logical theory. Keywords
