Abstract
An advanced water treatment process involves irradiating a polluted solution, in presence of titania catalyst, leading to complete degradation to carbon dioxide. The present review sumarises recent developments in this advanced oxidation water treatment, which has been successfully tried on a pilot plant scale, under solar illumination, in the USA. A wide range of pollutants is dealt with in this review. Keywords
