Abstract
Molecular states are characterized by enhanced electromagnetic deexcitations of many different multipolarities. The expected enhancement of , , and transitions is examined deriving molecular sum rules for radiative deexcitation widths and via a dimensionality approach. The enhancement of the transitions is the most striking.
