Abstract
The comparative effects of isosorbide and glycerin on lowering of intraocular tension (IOT) were studied in 54 patients. With isosorbide, a greater fall occurred in 31 patients; while with glycerin, a greater fall occurred in 23. Besides lowering IOT, isosorbide produced significantly fewer side reactions than glycerin. Keywords
