Abstract
The capture of non‐equilibrium carriers hopping between randomly distributed localized states and being trapped by same recombination centres or traps is considered. Exponentially varying transition probabilities between the localized states are assumed. Using a time dependent cluster construction based on the large scatter of the transition probabilities in the system the capture rate R(t) is calculated. R(t) is shown to follow a power‐law dependence, R(t) ∼ t−ξ, where ξ is equal or close to 1.Keywords
