Abstract
Heart failure is a progressive condition that increases in incidence with advancing age.1-10 There is an emerging emphasis on understanding the progression from heart failure risk factors to asymptomatic ventricular dysfunction and eventually to symptomatic heart failure and death.6,7 Therefore, it is important to have population-based information on changes in cardiac function over time.Keywords
