Abstract
The unitarity-bounded high-energy behavior of Born graphs for production of two massive vector mesons is shown to result from the decomposition of the amplitude into a locally gauge-invariant part and a suppressed remainder. In addition, asymptotic helicity conservation is found to emerge. Keywords
