Abstract
Growth was favored by the use of BGM medium with glutathione added. Although adult hen plasma exerts antimalarial activity in vivo, this effect was not noted in vitro. The substitution of bovine albumin for chicken plasma produced poor results as did the use of Fischer''s tissue culture medium.
