Abstract
The galaxy identified with the strongest component of the radio source PKS 0336 – 35 has a spectrum typical of narrow-line radio galaxies. The relative line strengths indicate that the lines come from a region of high ionization; linewidths indicate that the rms turbulent velocities in this region are < 150 km s−1, somewhat low for this type of galaxy. The heliocentric radial velocity is 33 750 ± 30 km s−1.Keywords
