Abstract
Several bounds to the capacity region of a degraded Gaussian channel are studied. An outer bound utilizing the capacity region of the corresponding broadcast channel is obtained. Two achievable regions obtained previously are compared, and a region including both is introduced by using frequency division multiplexing.Keywords
