Abstract
A small collection of bryozoan material from the deep waters of the Norwegian Sea yielded a total of six taxa, including Aethozoon pellucida gen. and sp. nov., and Flustrellidra inarmata sp. nov. The potential value of deep-water benthic surveys is discussed briefly. The bryozoan fauna comprises a high proportion of new or little known species and interesting bathymetric distributions are emerging.
