Abstract
In a previous report, we reviewed the safety of initiating different contraceptive methods immediately postabortion [11]. In the time since the report was written, there have been no significant or new developments concerning contraception immediately following either elective or spontaneous abortion. This report will examine issues relating to contraception immediately following a term delivery, and the safety and effectiveness of different contraceptive methods immediately postpartum. Keywords
