Direct common carotid injection of radioisotopes for the evaluation of cerebral circulatory disturbances

Abstract
Results of the radioencephalographic test performed bilaterally in 116 subjects. Sixty-eight patients presented cerebrovascular lesions and 31 of them had carotid, middle cerebral, or anterior cerebral thromboses. The results confirm the value of the method for the diagnosis of thrombosis and for the evaluation of alterations in cerebral hemodynamics.
