Abstract
The Third International Conference on Radioactive Nuclear Beams (RNB-111) was held in East Lansing, Michi- gan, USA, from May 24–27,1993, and was hosted by The National Superconducting Cyclotron Laboratory (NSCL) of Michigan State University (MSU). The conference chairman, Professor David J. Morrissey, had chosen MSU's Kellogg Center for Continuing Education to better accommodate the sessions, and also for convenient lodging of the majority of the participants. The Kellogg Center contains a “classical” auditorium which provides excellent optical and acoustical conditions. This contributed to the success of the conference.
