Abstract
The procedure for the prep-aration of bovine liver esterase is presented. The activity of the enzyme toward various substrates was studied with triacetin, tri-butyrin, triacetin, ethyl acetate, and tenulin. With triacetin as substrate and employing phosphate buffer the optimum pH was 8.0.Keywords
