Malignant Carcinoid Tumour with Gangrene of the Small Intestine

Abstract
Four patients with a malignant carcinoid tumour of the small bowel (three had the carcinoid syndrome) developed gangrene of the small intestine. Attention is drawn to this seldom recognized complication, as early surgery may be life saving.Keywords
