Indium In 113m for Visualizing Body Organs

Abstract
Indium In 113m, a generator-produced radionuclide, has been useful as a protein-bound metal and a colloidal aggregate to scan the cardiac blood pool, placenta, liver, spleen, bone marrow, lung, and brain. The wide applicability and ease of preparation in addition to the physical characteristics of this radiopharmaceutical suggest that it may well be the most useful scanning agent devised to date.
