Abstract
Transport of mean flow kinetic energy by turbulent interactions has been measured in the inner region of a plane wall jet, where turbulent shear stress opposes mean velocity gradient. Energy transport by Reynolds stresses dominates, with loss to production of turbulence playing a secondary role. Keywords
