Abstract
The role of the supplementary conditions in the quantum theory of gravitation is discussed in a simplified and unambiguous manner by means of a Lagrangian formalism involving the use of the ordered products. The consistency of the supplementary conditions for the general nonlinear gravitational field interacting with the matter field is established. This publication has 9 references indexed in Scilit:
