Abstract
A four phase ecological working model for the clinical evaluation and coordination of services for the child with a handicap is presented. This model, based on the experience of a medically based multidisciplinary program, stresses the importance of coordinated services in order that the family can view the interrelationship of each component (medical, educational, and family) of the child's habilitation program. In order for this to take place, interdisciplinary and intradisciplinary communication must occur. Keywords
