A Study of Modern Methods of Grouping Dried Blood Stains

Abstract
This paper on the examination of blood stains describes a modification of the technique reported by Coombs and Dodd in volume I of this journal at p. 359. It confirms its value as a routine measure in cases where the quantity of blood is too small for complete grouping by the classical method. It is stated that it is superior for MN grouping and that promising results have been obtained with the D factor of the Rhesus complex.
