Abstract
The two-dimensional one-component plasma near a metal wall is exactly solvable at a special value of the coupling constant. The author calculates the grand canonical partition function and correlation functions in strip geometry along the interface. By taking the strip width to infinity, the author obtains the exact statistical mechanics of a model of the metal-electrolyte boundary. Sum rules are discussed. Keywords
