Embelin, extracted from Embelia ribes Burm. berries, altered the testicular histology and glycogen, gametogenic counts and accessory sex gland fructose at the dose levels 0.3, 0.4 and 0.5 mg/kg body weight administered subcutaneously for 35 days. The compound is suggested to possess antiandrogenic activity. Keywords
