Abstract
Gastric sensation was examined in a patient via a gastrostomy tube. A commissural myelotomy, dividing the fibers that cross the spinal cord between the 2nd thoracic and 2nd lumbar segments, caused no changes in gastric sensation. The patient was a 70 yr old man who had had a gastrostomy performed for a carcinoma of the gastric end of the esophagus. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
