A new acidophilic Scytalidium

Abstract
A brown mold fungus was isolated from acid soil and from acid solutions in an industrial plant and a uranium mine. The only type of spores observed were arthroconidia. The morphology of the fungus is illustrated and it is described as a new species, Scytalidium acidophilum.Keywords
