Abstract
In an effort to find a reagent more specific for phloridzin, none was found superior to ferric chloride already in use. Other good reagents were found, making possible the use of confirmatory tests. Of the various Rosaceae tested only apple showed phloridzin. Here it appeared abundantly in and near the most active tissue. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
