Variable bandpass filter with high rejection ratio for Raman scattering

Abstract
A variable bandpass filter with a stray light rejection ratio as good as 10−8 is described. The applications of this filter in removing elastically scattered laser light from poor quality sample surfaces in Raman scattering are discussed.Keywords
