Abstract
Most of the data available on energy levels in odd-mass nuclei of the heaviest elements have been summarized and evaluated. The observed levels have been classified according to the level diagrams calculated by Nilsson for nuclei with prolate spheroidal deformations. Qualitatively, the agreement between the data and the Nilsson diagrams is very good. Keywords
