Abstract
Whole-organ and chopped-tissue explants from 4 genera and 7 species of Australian leptodactylids were incubated at temperatures ranging from 4 to 410. The donors were obtained from one of three latitudes, approximately 195., 34S., or 43S. Intraspecific comparison of temperature tolerance was provided by tissues of Limnodynastes tasmaniensis from both 195. and 34S.
