Abstract
The rabies virus and its glycoprotein are used in antigens in a microimmunoenzymatic assay (IEA). Human rabies antibodies [Ab] are detected and titrated using anti-human Ab and Staphylococcus protein A conjugated to peroxidase. Several mammal anti-rabies sera are tested by this method with protein A. The results are compared to those obtained by seroneutralization in mice, which is the standard method for rabies Ab detection.
