Abstract
In a long-range prediction study of creative achievement, it was hypothesized that the number of objects presented in unusual visual perspective on the Repeatetd Figures Activity of the Torrance tests would be related to adult creative achievement whereas the number of objects presented in common or usual visual perspective would be unrelated to such criteria. Ss were 144 students in Grades 7, 9, 11, and 12, followed up 12 yr. later. The number of objects presented in unusual visual perspective on the circles test is moderately and significantly related to the criteria of adult creativity ( rs = .39, .49, and .45 for Quantity of Creative Achievements, Quality of Peak Creative Achievements, and Creativeness of Aspirations respectively) and number of objects presented in usual or common perspective is unrelated to these criteria ( rs = –.08, .04, and –.03).Keywords
