Abstract
QCD predictions for the photon structure functions are analyzed with emphasis on the need of retaining hadronlike contributions. The Altarelli-Parisi formalism for the photon structure function is generalized to include next-to-leading-order corrections. Numerical results of the Altarelli-Parisi equations are presented. Keywords
