Abstract
Lophocephala guerini Lap., a harpactorine coprophagous reduviid is recorded here from a very restricted locality of the Walayar range of the Western Ghats. Its microhabitat underneath stones, in association with the formicine ant, Anoplolepis longipes (Jerdon) and its crepuscular regular feeding march, always attended and guided by these ants are described. A brief description of the nymphal instars and the congregation feeding on a fermenting heap of cow dung is also recorded. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
