Abstract
After efficient spectral narrowing with an interference filter and two succesive Fabry‐Perot etalons single‐mode operation of a flashlamp pumped dye laser has been achieved using a Michelson‐type mode selector as proposed by Fox and Smith. Typical output powers of 1 kW with a linewidth of 0.05 pm have been obtained. Keywords
