Abstract
A case of a 45 year old white male with postnecrotic cirrhosis is reported. Studies revealed hemolytic anemia, porphobilinogenuria, lymphocytosis and vascular and platelet abnormalities as well as deficiencies of prothrombin, proaccelerin and provonvertin. The most striking abnormality was the presence of active fibrinolysis which was demonstrated to be the result of absence of the normally occurring antifibrinolysin. Keywords
