Abstract
The Lewis acid B(C6F5)3 adds to a variety of (butadiene)metal systems to yield zwitterionic complexes that are active homogeneous Ziegler–Natta type olefin polymerization catalysts. The new compounds have been useful in experimental studies gaining information about details of the carbon–carbon coupling reactions at these often fast and selective catalyst systems. Keywords
