Abstract
The particle-composition data at high in nucleon-nucleon scattering are explained in terms of the quark content and the quark cascade within the nucleon. The analysis lends strong support to the quark model of hadrons. Characteristic predictions are also made for particle ratios at high in meson-nucleon scattering processes.
