Abstract
The synthesis and characterization of hitherto unknown soluble octasubstituted ruthenium phthalocyanines R8PcRu (R=C5H11O) by vacuum thermolysis of their bisaxial adducts with 3-chloropyridine is described. R8PcRu (R=C5H11O, 2-Et-hexO) was reacted with 1,4-diisocyano-2,3,5,6-tetramethylbenzene (me4dib) and 1,4-diisocyanobenzene (dib) to afford the oligomers [R8PcRu(me4dib)]n (R=C5H11O, 2-Et-hexO) and [R8PcRu(dib)]n (R=C5H11O), which were characterized by spectroscopic methods.Keywords
