Abstract
Daily caffeine intakes of women who recently had been pregnant were estimated and analyzed in relation to outcome of pregnancy. Only one of a subgroup of 16 women with a high intake (at least 600 mg/day) had an uncomplicated delivery. The other 15 pregnancies ended in spontaneous abortion, stillbirth, or premature birth. Keywords
