Abstract
Light and electron microscope observations of tiny nerve branchlets attached to the nerve of the pterygoid canal suggests that the source of sympathetic autonomic fibres in the greater petrosal nerve may not be solely confined to fibres ‘recurrent’ from the deep petrosal nerve, as hitherto believed.Keywords
