Abstract
It is shown that a magnetic tape can be magnetized so that the fringing field exists on only one side of the tape, a behavior predicted several years ago but never previously confirmed by direct experiment. This one-sided flux requires a tape specially produced to have equal remanence in any direction normal to the transverse axis. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
