Abstract
Organ dysfunction in the presence of cachexia was observed in these 2 patients. Serum amylase, glutamic oxaloacetic transaminase (GOT), and glutamic pyruvatic transaminase (GPT) became normal parallel with body weight. Based on reports on the effects of malnutrition on pancreas and liver function, nutritional pancreas and liver dysfunction might represent complications of anorexia nervosa. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
