Neutrino charge in the linearRξgauge

It is shown that in the $\mathrm{SU}{\mathrm{}\left(2\right)\mathrm{}}_L\times \mathrm{U}\mathrm{}\left(1\right)\mathrm{}$ model of electroweak interactions dimensional regularization guarantees the vanishing of the one-loop contributions to the neutrino charge for every dimension $n$ and for every value of the gauge-fixing parameter $\xi$ without the need for counterterms and without having to invoke Ward identities.
