A New Dihydrotriazine Effective against Syphacia obvelata in Mice

Abstract
A comparative study was made of the activity of B.W. 58-232, a new dihydrotriazine, and tripiperazine dicitrate in single doses at 6 different dosage levels against Syphacia obvelata, a mouse pinworm. B.W. 58-232 was found to be superior in that it is less toxic, it eliminates both mature and immature stages of worms, it clears a higher percentage of mice, it is effective over a longer period of time, and it is active when mixed with food.
