Abstract

The single crystal X-ray structure of [Pd(tbc)](PF₆)₂·0.4MeNO₂ shows a tetrahedrally distorted square-planar stereochemistry around Pd^II; this distortion accounts for the anodic shift of the Pd^II/Pd^I redox couple for the cation.
